Joanne Snook-Hann

Joanne Snook-Hann has been painting and drawing for the past 20 years. She is a graduate of Memorial University's School of Fine Arts and is the illustrator of several children's books, including 'Sailor: The Hangashore Newfoundland Dog,' 'The Turnip Top Pony,' 'A Viking Ship for Brendan' and 'There Are No Polar Bears Here.' Joanne is presently working primarily in prismacolour and finds inspiration in beautiful items from the past. Antique teacups, plates and other vintage items are among her favourite subject matter. Joanne also works part-time as a layout designer with Transcontinental Media in St. John's. She devotes time to family, work and favourite pet, her horse.
